Applications are no longer being accepted for the MS Mental Health Mentorship Program
The Foundation of the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers is proud to continue a series of specialty training opportunities for MS mental health professionals. There is a national shortage of mental health practitioners knowledgeable about neuropsychiatric disorders in MS. Now in its’ third year, programs of this type have been established to encourage growth and excellence in the comprehensive clinical care of MS. Begun in 2019, our 2020 program was postponed due to COVID and then resumed in 2021. We are now moving forward in 2022!
The program provides mentorship opportunities, pairing expert faculty members with “rising stars” who have recently begun or are considering a career in mental healthcare. Our mental health scholars are nurses, social workers and other mental health professionals. We appreciate our training partners, scholars and funders who help make this program a success! This program in 2022 is generously supported by EMD Serono.
